Prairie Dogs Prairie Dogs

Here's a little prairie dog colony to greet you. The inside glaze is a cinnamon matte with a bright band of purple flowers near the rim. In contrast, the glaze covering the prairie dogs is clear and shiny. The bowl is 6" wide and 2 3/8" high. This bowl was sold in December for $252.50.

Wall Mug Lizard Cup

Several dogs, a few cats and one goat are here on a wall, looking out at the world, seeking company and a little excitement. This mug is 3 1/2" high and 3 3/4" wide and holds 13 oz. Next to it, a watchful lizard winds his body around another mug, his tail flicking under the handle. This mug is 3 1/4" high and 3 1/2" wide and holds 12 oz. Both mugs are made of dark red stoneware clay and have unglazed areas. These mugs were sold in November for $100 and $112.50, respectively.

Circus Cookie Jar

Children under trees watch and dream as the circus comes to town. There are lions and dancing bears, giraffes and elephants, even a monkey blowing bubbles. This colorful cookie jar is made of stoneware and painted with underglazes. This cookie jar is 6 3/4" high and 5 1/4" wide. This pot was sold in October for $355.00.

An alert group of badgers scan the surroundings. These are shy, nocturnal animals so it's not often that you see them. The base is a soft brown matte glaze that looks like fur. This pot is 2 3/4" high and 4 1/4" wide. This pot was sold in September for $125.00.

The pitcher is a quiet piece. Looking like a scene from a meadow, you can imagine the scented air and the buzzing of bees, two of which have landed on the pot. The flowers on this pot are painted with underglaze paints and have a soft edge watercolor quality. This pot is 7 1/4" high and 5 1/4" wide and holds 1 1/4 quarts. This pot was sold in August for $202.50.

A thoughtful cat imagines a perfect world; fish and birds mingle, circling around the center of his universe. This bowl is made of speckled stoneware and the design is painted with underglaze paints. The colors are pale and delicate with the rim a creamy yellow. This generously sized pot is 10 3/4" wide and 2 1/2" deep. This pot was sold in July for $265.00.

Five Friendly Frogs Bowl

Ready to catch any near-by flies, five goofy frogs form a ring around this bowl. The frogs request you please fill it with something sweet to attract their favorite snack. This small bowl is made of stoneware and has a carved rim. The interior is a fresh spring green. This bowl is 4 1/2" wide and 2 1/2" high, holds 1 1/2 cups and is suitable for general use. This pot was sold in June for $265.00.

These playful lambs are about to tiptoe through the tulips. As long as they stay behind the flowers, we can still enjoy the display. This small vase is made of speckled stoneware and glazed with a matte off-white glaze. This pot is 4" wide and 5 1/2" high. This pot was sold in May for $172.50.

Three butterflies land on this container lid to form a pattern that is almost abstract. Found in the jungles of Brazil, these delicate insects are dressed in bright yellow, orange and black. This container is 2 3/4" wide and 4 1/4" high. This pot was sold in April for $128.50.

This gregarious flock of hens and ducks are waiting for some crumbs from your toast. This stoneware mug is glazed dark green in the interior. The mug is decorated with underglazes. This mug is 4" wide and 3 3/4" high and holds 16 oz. This pot was sold in March for $103.50.

Big ones and small ones, all kinds of rabbits abound around this mug. They're self-contained and watching you. These gentle creatures are surrounded by a golden haze caused by the rust red glaze meeting the cream glaze on which the bunnies are painted. The interior is rust red. This stoneware mug is 3 1/4" wide and 4" high and holds 14 oz. This pot was sold in March for $127.

Winter Landscape Bowl

With this porcelain bowl in your hand, you'll feel like you own a tiny corner of the world. Inside the bowl, you'll find a sunny country day with horses in a snowy field. Outside the bowl, there is a moonlit night. The designs have been carefully detailed in soft winter colors with underglazes. This small bowl is 4 3/4" wide and 2 1/4" high. This pot was sold in February for $330.

White horses against black, black horses against red clay, together they prance around the inside and out of this bowl. Bright turquoise bands circle the rim and below the horses. This bowl is made of red stoneware, glazed a black on the inside, and unglazed except for the horse images on the outside. This bowl is 6 3/4" wide and 3" high. This pot was sold in January for $150.
