Frog Bowl |

Here's a bowl with frogs leaping through, with plenty of flies for all. The bowl is made of porcelain. It's background glaze is a pale green with some unevenness in the application. The green glaze was scraped away in the shape of the frogs which were painted with underglaze paints, then coated with a transparent glaze. This bowl is 5 1/2" wide and 2 1/2" high. This pot sold for $100. |
Sunflower Pitcher |

This pitcher is covered with boldly colored sunflowers. The design has been cut through the glaze resulting in a matte black line which surrounds the flowers and the leaves. The inside and top of the pitcher is covered in a creamy yellow glaze. Three green glazes of deepening intensity are combined to form the leaves. This pitcher is 10" high and the diameter at the base is 6 1/4 ". This pot sold for $450. |

This platter is made of porcelain. The egrets were painted with underglaze paints, then the area around then masked. The egrets were glazed wth a transparent glaze and waxed to protect them from the background glaze. The background was glazed in sections with several different blue glazes for a watery effect. The size of the platter is 10 1/2 wide and 2 inches high. This pot sold for $375. |

This platter is made of porcelain. The toucans were painted with underglaze paints, then the area around then masked. The birds were glazed wth a transparent glaze and waxed to protect them from the background glaze. The pot was submerged in a clear green glaze and the foliage was etailed on top of the glaze. The size of the platter is 11 wide and 2 inches high. This pot sold for $350. |
Swan Pitcher |

This pitcher is made of white stoneware. The area around the swans was masked and the pot was glazed in a satin matte white glaze. The mask was removed and underglaze paints were used on top of the glaze to detail the swans. The swans were waxed to protect them from the next glaze application, then the pot was glazed in a blue glaze to obtain the background sea. Waves were painted on the blue glaze with underglaze paints. The size of the pot is 10 inches high and 6 inches in diameter. This pot sold for $300. |

The base is glazed with a matte brown glaze with grasses thatreflect the hair of the lion's mane. The interior is white. The size of the pot is 5 1/2 inches in diameter and 3 1/4 inches high.
