Chinese Chickens
I was lucky enough to take a trip around the world many years ago. This drawing is from a picture I took in a small Chinese village. It was a very gray day in February near the Chinese New Year's and there wasn't much color in the surroundings. The brilliantly colored rooster posed for me near the pig enclosure. The symbol on the wall means "Great!" much in the same way we write "Joy" during our holiday season. The original drawing is on 11" x 14" bristol board with the image size 9" x 11". The prints of this drawing are slightly larger, actual size 13 1/2" x 17" with the image size 11" x 13", produced in an edition of 175. The cost of each print is $95.
